Alitalia: the newco will take off on December 15 |

| [ Italica ] – Alitalia might be forced to cut up more flights scheduled from Wednesday and the newco Cai will not be able to operate before December 15. However, Augusto Fantozzi, the special administrator overseeing the flag carrier's bankruptcy, points out that the economic matter regarding the assets has already been solved. Fantozzi said that the delay is due to mainly to the Monitoring Trustee, a special government committee that has to determine that the offer for Alitalia is in line with market prices, and to the negotiations with the foreign partner.
