| Italy: consumer sentiment falls |
|
| [Italica] – Italian consumer confidence fell in January – the Italian Institute for Studies and Economic Analyses, Isae, reported in a press release. The survey, carried out between January 4 to 18, shows the consumer sentiment index standing at 111.7 from 113.7 recorded in December. Worries about Italy’s overall economy, consumers' own economic situation and labour maket impacted negatively on the index. Besides, consumers perceive that prices are again to rise.
