San Marino: Central Bank’s leaders to resign
[ Italica ] - Biagio Bossone, Luca Papi and Luciano Murtas, respectively chairman, director and member of the supervision authority of the Central Bank of the Republic of San Marino, resigned from office. In a letter to the Captains Regent Francesco Mussoni and Stefano Palmieri, Mr. Bossone and Mr. Papi explained that their resignations are due to the government meddling in the activities of the banking supervision authority. “These are grave charges and we will consider whether any legal redress is possible” – San Marino’s finance minister Gabriele Gatti commented.
