| In Northern Italy, the 53% of household incomes |

| [ Italica ] - In the period 2005-2007, about 53 percent of the total income of Italian families were concentrated in the North - Istat, Italy's National Institute of Statistics, reports on Thursday. The average growth rate of North-West, Central and Southern Italy is 3.2 percent, as the national rate, while in the Northeast, the total growth was higher, namely 3.4 percent.
