| San Marino ratified the Convention on the Protection of Children |

| [ Italica ] - The Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse came into force on Thursday. San Marino signed the Convention on October 2007 together with 38 of the Council of Europe's 47 member states, and the ratification will enable its entry into force. “I would like to express my satisfaction. The Convention is the first international instrument to tackle all forms of sexual violence against children.
