| Confindustria: estimates lowered for Italy's GDP |

| [ Italica ] - The projection for Italy's Gross Domestic Product has worsened since September survey, with data revised downward from 1.2 to 1 per cent for 2010, and from 1.3 to 1.1 for next year, the think-tank of Italian main employers’ federation Confindustria reported on Thursday. According to Confindustria, Italy needs a 2 per cent annual growth to recover, but the measures taken to deal with crisis are not enough.
