| Italy: Industrial turnover up 1.1% |
|
| [ Italica ] - The industrial turnover index increased 1.1 per cent in October 2011 compared to the previous year, Istat, Italy's National Institute of Statistics, reports in a survey. The sectors in which turnovers increased the most are those producing coke and refined oil products (+17.3%). The unadjusted industrial new orders index decreased 4.8 per cent on a year-on-year basis. The highest increases were observed in the pharmaceutical products industry (+5.4%).
