| Italy: industrial production up 3.9 % |

| [ Italica ] – In January 2016, Italy’s industrial production calendar adjusted index was up 3.9 per cent on yearly basis. - the Italian National Institute of Statistics, Istat, reports. Compared to December 2015, the index, seasonally adjusted, was up 1.9 per cent. Industrial production grew, on a year-to-year basis, in the pharmaceutical products industry (+10.3%), in the manufacturing industry of coke and refined oil products (+5.9%), and in the manufacturing of means of transport (+10.9%).
