Italy: exports up 3.3% |
|
[ Italica ] – In February, compared to the previous month, both exports and imports increased, 2.5 and 0.6 per cent respectively, Italy's National Institute of Statistics, Istat, reported. On a year-to-year basis, too, data reported an increase both for exports and imports (+3.3% and +2.4%). The trade balance, however, was positive for 3.9 billion euros. Exports grew mainly towards Japan (+13.6%) and ASEAN countries (+12.4%). Imports grew from Belgium (+28.4%) and Czech Republic (+24.3%). [ April 15, 2016 – Italica News from Italy and San Marino ]
