| Italy: industrial producer prices down 4.1 % |

| [ Italica ] – In April, industrial producer price index was down 0.3 per cent on a year-to-year basis, Italy's National Institute of Statistics reports. In the domestic market, prices were up for the computer, electronic and optical products (+1.3%), while the sharpest decrease was recorded in the price of coke and refined oil products (-18.2%). In the euro area, prices of pharmaceutical products were up 2.9%, and prices of coke and refined oil products have shown the hisghest decrease (-38.1%).
